NDA Policy
This NDA Policy describes Mechlio's general approach to confidential RFQ materials, technical drawings, part files, supplier capabilities, and production context shared during CNC sourcing.
Confidential materials
Confidential materials may include CAD files, drawings, tolerances, inspection requirements, material specifications, pricing information, supplier capability information, production notes, and other non-public business or technical information.
Before files are routed
Sensitive RFQ files should be shared only after the appropriate confidentiality process is in place. Mechlio may require a customer, supplier, or project-specific NDA before routing drawings or technical files to any shop.
Supplier access
RFQ materials are routed only to suppliers selected for relevant capability, certification status, material fit, inspection needs, and available capacity. Suppliers may be required to sign an NDA before receiving protected files or project details.
Use of confidential information
Confidential information should be used only to review, quote, produce, inspect, coordinate, or support the relevant sourcing request. It should not be used for unrelated work, reverse engineering, competitive analysis, or disclosure outside the approved project workflow.
Separate agreements
Some projects may require customer-specific, supplier-specific, or project-specific confidentiality terms. Any fully executed written NDA or master agreement controls where it conflicts with this general policy.
